Step two : La promesse de vente
It is a pre-contract that links you to the seller. You agree on the definition of the estate as well as on the price.
It takes place in the Notaire office, it starts the legal work of the Notaire, namely "Purge des hypothèques", and "Rédaction de l'acte authentique"

Step three : l'acte authentique
Now comes the signature of the contract; and payment of the price.
It takes an average three months between "promesse de vente" and "acte authentique"

Step four : you must get the contract from the Notaire office within the weeks that follow the signature of the "acte authentique"
